PERSEPOLIS: Typographic Book, Screen to page

 

PERSEPOLIS is a movie script book. This Project is to convert the script of “Persepolis” to a typographic book.

 

“Persepolis” movie by Marjane Satrapi is the story of Marjaneh, a young Iranian girl during the Islamic Revolution of Iran. The book presents her life, in black and white as the movie is presented in the black-and-white, style of the original graphic novels (comic book). It’s a movie mixed with both personal experiences as well as cruel reality and humor. There is expressive typography that can show the whole theme of the movie and book. The poster is a handout gift that comes with the book's second edition to celebrate the 5th anniversary of the movie.
